OUR HISTORY

In 1998, W.A. Krause, president and CEO of Krause Gentle Corporation, and a group of business leaders began to build a vibrant, progressive Iowa-based banking organization that blends the spirit and service of a community bank with the strength and resources of a larger bank. Liberty Bank has grown to become an independent network of local banks that continues to attract some of the best banking professionals around, each dedicated to making your financial life convenient and comfortable.

Liberty Bank opened its first Florida branch in Naples in August of 2004.  In April of 2006, the Florida branches separated from the Liberty Bank branches in other states to form a new charter with local management, local decision-making and local business leaders as investors.
